Caring for Your Bowl

These bowls carry stories—from forest and shed to hand and home. A little care helps them continue their journey.

Care for a Wooden Bowl

If your bowl will be used to serve food, treat it only with Bee’s wax or food-safe mineral oil. These penetrate natural wood surfaces to protect against drying, splitting, and cracking. Rub wax or oil inside and out with a soft cloth  whenever the wood feels dry.

Never use vegetable oil, which can turn rancid. Wash with warm water and mild soap, rinse and dry immediately. Never soak your bowl, and do not place it in the dishwasher or microwave— these are common mistakes that can ruin your piece.

Commissions Welcome

I create bespoke wood turned bowls and artistic pieces tailored to your vision. If you have a special request or any questions about my work, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I’ll respond as soon as possible.

I proudly serve customers across the UK and Ireland.
